How iHydroseed™ works

Contractors build claimable listings. Customers request help. Contractor listings and customer match requests are open now. Coverage expands every week as more contractors join and get reviewed.

1. Contractors claim

Seed listings give invited contractors a fast starting point. They review, correct, and choose public visibility.

2. Coverage is verified

Service areas, services, and project fit are reviewed before relying on public search results.

3. Customers get routed

Project owners submit a request and get connected with matching contractors in the directory.

Think of iHydroseed™ as a toolbox.

Customers grab the “find a contractor” tool. Contractors grab the “get found” tool. Builders, land managers, and DOT folks grab the project-fit tools. The point isn’t to keep you here — it’s to hand you the right next step and let you go do the job.

If you own the project

Finding a contractor, step by step

You do not need to know seed mixes or tank sizes. You need to describe the site and what you want to grow. We handle the matching.

1. Tell us the location

A city, ZIP, county, or state is enough to start. The more specific you are, the tighter the match — but we can work from very little.

2. Describe the work

New lawn, slope you keep losing to erosion, a builder site that needs cover before inspection, roadside or reclamation acreage — plain language is fine.

3. We route your request

Your request goes to the Hydroseed Supply™ desk. We look at who actually covers your area and handles that type of work, then connect you.

No cost, no obligation. Requesting a match is free. You are not signing a contract — you are getting pointed at contractors who do this kind of work in your area.
If you run a crew

Getting listed, step by step

iHydroseed™ is built for the hydroseeding and erosion-control trade specifically — not a generic “local pros” directory that lumps you in with pressure washers and painters.

1. Claim or create

Invited contractors use a secure claim link to grab a pre-built listing. Everyone else can create one free with company, service area, and services.

2. Set your fit

Add the details that actually matter: equipment, service radius, project sizes you take, customer types, certifications, and stormwater or reclamation capabilities.

3. Control your contact

Decide what shows publicly. Show your phone and website, route requests privately through iHydroseed™, or both. Your call.

Common questions

Is this free?

Yes. Basic contractor listings are free, and requesting a contractor match as a project owner is free. Paid contractor visibility tiers are opening in stages — see Membership.

How are contractors vetted?

Listings rely on contractor-reported information plus a review step for service area, services, and project fit. Customers should still confirm licensing, insurance, and certifications directly before hiring — we tell you that plainly instead of implying a guarantee.

What areas do you cover?

Coverage grows as listings are submitted and reviewed. If there is no match in your area yet, your request still reaches our desk and we help you find a practical next step.
